The Man with the hornMiles Davis est LE jazzman du 20ème siècle. Miles a exploré un maximum de musiques. 1985, Miles signe sur le même label que Prince, la Warner. Sur l'album Tutu, "Full Nelson", est princier. Une collaboration suposée (secrète) avec Madhouse, le groupe jazz-funk-techno de Prince : Miles jouerait avec le saxophoniste Eric Leeds. 1987, un certain "Miles D" est crédité sur l'album "Sign O The Time". Serait-il la trompette sur "Adore" ? Cette même année, Miles adopte le morceau "Movie Star" de Prince, présent sur Rave en 1999. 1988, Prince écrivait "Amandla" pour l'album du même nom, transformé en "The H Man" dans son propre catalogue. Miles et Prince sont officiellement "bons amis". Outre des interviews, une Photo de Prince est dans son autobiographie. En 1991, Miles et Prince projettent un album, mais la mort de Miles interompt tout.
